Faculty Testing Resources

Testing Services supports learning in the classroom by providing convenient, secure, and proctored testing for prospective and current º£½ÇÂÛ̳ (º£½ÇÂÛ̳) students and can provide resources and assistance for faculty with the following types of exams:

Assistance can also be provided for proctored exams for outside institutions and community certification exams. See Non-Student Exams for more information. 

Exam Submissions

If you would like to utilize Testing Services for a class exam, the first step is to complete an exam submission through the RegisterBlast Professor Tool. Upon approval by Testing Services staff, your exam will be listed as an option for scheduling in the exam menu. Instructor names are appended to exams to help students locate the correct exam. All exam submissions must be sent at least two (2) business days prior to the start date.

Students With Accommodations

The following steps should be taken to set up exams for students who have requested accommodations:

  • Students seeking accommodations for testing will request accommodations through Student Disability Services. Approved accommodations for your student(s) will be communicated via a Letter of Accommodation. 
  • If students need to utilize Testing Services to take class exams, please send exam submissions through the , a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
  • Once your exam submission has been approved your students may proceed with scheduling an exam through Testing Services.
     
  • Important Notes:
    • Students are responsible for scheduling exams at least 24 hours in advance.
    • Students are responsible for selecting their accommodations at the time they schedule.
    • Instructors are responsible for making adjustments to exams for, but not limited to: time, modality, or additional resources, as outlined in the Letter of Accommodation.
  • If you would like to administer and proctor your own exams for your accommodated students, please review and speak with the student to ensure you can appropriately meet their accommodation needs (e.g., reader/scribe, reduced distraction testing area etc.).

Distance Proctoring

Distance proctoring allows º£½ÇÂÛ̳ students who live more than 50 miles away from a Testing Services location to take exams off campus with an approved proctor.
