Student Disability Services plays an integral role in fulfilling this commitment by coordinating effective academic access support services and collaborating with students, faculty, staff, and community to create diverse and inclusive learning environments which are accessible to all.

The College strives to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 AA and the Web Accessibility Initiative Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite (WAI-ARIA) 1.0 for web-based content, which specify how to make content accessible for people with disabilities as well as for all users across platforms. and the are published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the main international standards organization for the Internet.
All newly-developed pages and website components must meet the standards above, except where doing so would impose an undue burden or create a fundamental alteration. Legacy pages are reviewed and addressed in accordance with the plans of the responsible parties as identified in accessibility procedures. Departments and college entities must carefully consider and consult with either a Student Disability Coordinator or Title IX Coordinator before determining an accessible product is an undue burden or creates a fundamental alteration. Where compliance does pose an undue burden or fundamental alteration, departments or college entities will provide individuals with disabilities with an equally-effective alternate means of access and take any actions that do not result in an undue burden or fundamental alteration.
