College Reading & Learning Association Tutoring Services, part of the Learning Commons at 海角论坛 (海角论坛),聽provides resources and individualized support to help you master course content,聽prepare for exams, and succeed in your classes. Services are free to all currently-enrolled students.聽

Drop-in tutoring and one-on-one appointments (online or on campus).

Study groups, embedded tutors, study skills workshops, and English language support.

Tutoring Support for Your Classroom
Tutoring Services partners with faculty to help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and succeed academically. We offer classroom resources, personalized support, and assignment feedback to enhance the student learning experience.

Classroom Visits: Promote student success by inviting us to present in your class. Email tutoring@cwi.edu to schedule a visit.
Assignment Checks: Tutors can review your assignments for clarity and provide feedback to ensure students understand your expectations.
Test & Quiz Support: While tutors cannot assist with quizzes or exams in any format, they can support students in preparing with study sessions and course reviews. For concerns about testing accommodations or support, please contact your department chair or supervisor.

Frequently Asked Questions

9063 What should I bring to my appointment?

The most important thing to bring to your tutoring session is an openness to work! Other things that help make your time successful are your assignment, any class notes or course texts that pertain to the assignment, and any work you have done so far.

9063 How do I obtain verification for my visit?

Upon request, Tutoring Services can complete a verification form for you to take to your instructor or email verification directly to your instructor.
